I have loved all the poems posted thus far, but Bernadette, this one reaches out at me like bare winter branches, and scratches… growing old is not fun, at least a lot of what I’ve seen can hardly be classed that way, and yet…. and yet…. thanks for this….. Dina.

Wow! Powerful poem for me, Bernadette. I have been very aware lately of my reduced connection with nature and the universal energies contained therein. The last stanza really captured me. Nature, here I come!
